We recommend recirculating wall canopy rangehoods with a CHOICE Expert Rating of at least 75% and a noise score of at least 55%. Undermount and retractable models are generally less effective at removing steam, so they need a CHOICE Expert Rating of at least 70% and a noise score of at least 46%.
