Childcare Osmo Bassinet review
Standalone bassinet. Priced at $150.
Good points
Bad points
Serious safety failure: The supplied mattress is insufficiently firm at particular puffed areas, a suffocation risk if a baby rolls face first into them.
Not easy to assemble.
In response to CHOICE's safety findings, the manufacturer provided us with a test report from an accredited lab saying its mattress passed the firmness test. It also said it did not think the criteria we test breathability to was applicable to the product. However, in the absence of an Australian standard, CHOICE stands by its test method and test result.
