Alex Carlton

I've been a journalist for over 20 years, writing features and opinion for publications including Marie Claire, The Women's Weekly, news.com.au, Whimn, Qantas and more.

From that list, you can tell that covering a broad range of topics is – somewhat ironically – my specialty. But it's probably my work in the parenting media sphere that brings me most closely into contact with products. New parents always want to know which brands and buys are of the highest quality, the best value for money and most importantly, the safest choices for their children.

I've always turned to CHOICE's no-frills, reliable research to help inform readers and I'm proud to now be working with CHOICE as a freelance writer, helping to investigate and compile the sort of information I've always relied upon.
